Starting 1 January 2026, the domain license will follow the same upgrade path as the Unlimited and Server licenses. This  upgrade fee will be €99 to upgrade a domain license.

When we originally introduced the domain license, we did not anticipate that some of these licenses would still be upgraded — and that support would still be requested — more than twelve years later. To ensure a fair and maintainable licensing model moving forward, the upgrade structure is now being aligned across all license types.

This change does not affect any domain licenses purchased before 1 January 2026. Those licenses remain valid under the conditions that applied at the time of purchase.

LTS/STS Upgrade Policy

Besides this our Upgrade Policy will follow the Umbraco LTS/sts verison scheme. This means minor updates for both the LTS release and the subsequent STS versions are free to upgrade and can be installed without additional cost. For example, if you purchased 17.0 version of SEO Checker, you get free updates of all 17.x, 18.x and 19.x versions
